Project Management

TVB’s TV City is the largest broadcasting facility in Asia. The US$160 million facility, designed by Gensler, comprises: 6 specialised buildings including an 11-storey administration and technical block, a drama studio, a live studio, a 6-storey news production and car park block, a 4-storey workshop and a link block with a canteen, an outdoor shooting lot, and a satellite antenna farm.

The main challenges of the project were its large scale (9 hectare site with 110,000 m2 of interior facilities), fast track program (18 months) and phased delivery with partial occupation.

Foxton successfully assembled and led the project management construction team from commencement of the piling works to completion of the specialised buildings and provided advice at the time of tender and on all aspects of the work.
